The Hancock Train Station/Depot served the town from 1878 to 1934 on a rail that went from Elmwood/Hancock Junction to Keene. It accommodated the local farmers as well as summer visitors and tourists seeking a bucolic environment far detached from the hectic city. The rail was abandoned in 1934 after extensive flood damage. A few years later, the building was moved a bit northward, then restored to its present condition.
The Cabaret is open on the first Saturday of each month, weather permitting. The show begins at 8:00; doors open at 7:30 if you want to sign up to play at one of several open mic spots. Call or email us if you are interested in performing as a feature performer, want to sign up for an open mic spot, rent the Depot for an event, or simply want more information
In addition to the music, visitors will enjoy snacks, veggies, and drinks (BYOB!). We’ll also hold a 50/50 raffle, so you just may walk away a winner! All proceeds go to help support the Depot.
